This decorative Siberian roe deer head is handcrafted from carefully selected fabrics in earthy tones of brown, beige and dusty pink. Smooth cotton fabrics, velvet, coarser tweed and soft, fluffy plush are combined in its making. The individual materials alternate not only in structure but also in surface, ranging from perfectly smooth textiles to fabrics with a subtly raised relief.

Every part of the roe deer was made with attention to detail. Glass taxidermy eyes are finished with delicately glued lashes. The muzzle is complemented by hand-painted elements, as are other details of the head and ears. Hand-sewn parts, a textile halter over the muzzle and small decorative upholstery nails are all included, becoming part of the overall composition.
